The #HireFriday Twitter movement was founded by Compassionate HR leader Margo Rose (aka @HRMargo) with the goal becoming a community of people looking for jobs and helping job seekers. By using the power of Twitter, coupled with the dedication of all of the #HireFriday community, helps to extend the reach and exposure of each job seeker beyond their own sphere of influence. Each Friday at Noon-1PM EST there is an online meeting of these followers on Twitter chat for job seekers and helpers using the hashtag #HFChat.

Today’s topic was “Blogging for Jobs” hosted by guest host Jessica Miller-Merrill. Click here for Jessica’s topic and questions for the week. Initial statistics for this week show that the response in terms of reach and number of participants was the largest in over a month. It also appears that a number of new job seekers have joined the community. Thanks for your support in spreading the news about #HireFriday and #HFChat.

Margo is assisted weekly during HFChat by co-moderators Steve Levy, Cyndy Trivella and Tom Bolt. This is the transcript of the peak period on 7/22/2011 from 11:00am to 2:00pm EST (9:00am to 11:00am PST):
