At some point during a job search process, it is not unusual to be involved in several interview processes at the same time. Some opportunities might thrill us, and others may not. So what does one do when juggling multiple interviews with great companies? How do we manage the job interview, and job offer process when each company has competing agendas and timelines? What should a career seeker do when faced with making a decision prior to having all the answers about the job, the company, and the team?
Come join in this week’s #HFChat to hear from recruiters and fellow job seekers as to what advice they give on this topic: “Managing your job search: How to weigh offers from several different companies.” Granted, this is a great problem to have. However, how many of us have ever had the chance to get feedback, and advice from an entire career community (like HireFriday)? This is a tremendous chance to shore up your strength, and be prepared for when that magic moment comes.
Be ready to share your thoughts and ideas on the following questions:
- How do you manage simultaneous interview processes with multiple employers?
- 2. A) What should you do in the interim? 2. B) Share best practices to cultivate during the wait?
- How can you stall one offer, while waiting for another offer?
- Tips for last minute decision changes while weighing two job offers?
- How can you continue building the relationship with your first choice employer?
